TL-56h Albatross landing

Description

Though it is undoubtedly cheaper and more efficient to ferry cargo between star systems in vast cargo haulers, medium transports are preferred for intra-system transport due to the fact that they are considerably faster and cheaper to own and operate. For transport between a planet and it's satellites, space stations, and moons however, light transports like the TL-56 Albatross are the way to go. Supremely cheap (for a space-capable craft) to own and operate, the Albatross can carry a modest 200 tonnes of cargo to any location within a star system, though they rarely get called upon to ferry cargo any further than a planet's orbiting habitations. This particular model is the "h" variant, sporting a pair of nose-mounted plasma cannons to discourage any pirate raiders it might encounter on it's way to the Vaughn III Asteroid Belt from the nearby Madison Industrial Station, ferrying food and supplies to the mining operation and ferrying raw iron, silicon, and platinum ores back to the station.

About the creation. This took me about three or four hours to make, because I went thought about six or seven different hull designs before I decided to keep it simple and just use straight-up brick. The only thing that I'm not happy with is the fact that the wings seem a bit thin (from front to back), but changing them would also require rebuilding the roof of the ship, so I'll keep it as is- especially since the bottoms of the wings fit so cleanly into the sides of the hull. The ship is inspired by one or two of the ships that can be seen in the trailers for No Man's Sky: www.no-mans-sky.com/about/ Which, by the way, I highly recommend you take a look at. Each video had at least one game feature that made me sit back and go, "DUDE I WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME. LIKE, RIGHT NOW." Like when you fly down to discover a planet for the first time, or when you shoot through an asteroid because you don't feel like going around it.
