Anyone who draws, builds, paints, writes, or otherwise creates knows how much of a pain artist's block is. However, they also know how epic is it when that block is broken by an awesome burst of inspiration. Thus I present for your consideration the T-430 Meteor starfighter, so named because that's what it looks like with those two big, high-output engines leaving trails of burning plasma in it's wake. This is heavily inspired by Galaga and Galaxian, some of the greatest games of all time. It was also inspired by a friend of mine, *enc86, who was trying to figure out what type of sci-fi ship to build a model of. When he asked what everyone's favorite starship styles were, it got me thinking about how much I love retro-futuristic and steampunk spaceship designs, and, well, you know the rest.
On a mildly related note, I just realized that the new Lego series Galaxy Squad is totally Galaxian.
very cool buddy! yea gotta hate that block that happens to all of us. i gotta agree its totally aweosme when you finally get over it and come up with something awesome. speaking of aweosme, this thing looks incredible. happy i got ya thinking and you definitely came up with a great ship design.
